What a beautiful park! This was our second time camping here and it was just as wonderful as the first. Our site was nicely shaded by a sprawling oak and was right at the beach access point to a nice winding trail to the beach over the dunes. They have a really nice camp store and gift shop as well as a great nature center. They had paved the campground road recently which cut down on the dust and noise of the stones from before which was nice. The other campers were very friendly and helpful. Bathrooms are conveniently located and clean. Overall a super week. We will be back very soon!

Great State park campground, with a beautiful lake for fishing and swimming. The public use beach is a short walk from the campground, is very nice, equipped with lifeguards, has playgrounds, bathrooms with showers, and a snack bar. The park is clean and pristine. The rangers were friendly and helpful. Education programs are held for free throughout the summer.

Beautiful campground on Lake Champlain with a great natural sand beach. Nice sites for tenting and RVs. Office staff is very friendly. The beach is open to the public for day use, some campsite are on the way to that beach and see a little more foot and car traffic. Campground is also on the Burlington Bike Path giving great access to the whole Burlington area.

A large campground with many seasonal tenants... by that I mean live-ins. If you are looking for a quiet weekend get away this isn't the place. It is bustling with activity. From the large group style rental sites to the rental cabins.. this place was packed. The "wilderness" sites are your best bets if you are looking for privacy. Although we had to ask our neighbors to move the many extra cars on too many occasions just so we could get back into our site. They have a catch and release pond for fishing. The playground and pool were nice and kept the kids happy. Saturday night featured live music at the rec hall. Sunday was a nice Father's Day breakfast... Dad's eat free. Overall an ok weekend but we won't be returning.. Too much going on and too pricey.

Decent overnight stop on the way south. A little pricey. We arrived late and were pointed to our site, unfortunately it was practically in the parking lot. Sites are close together. Pretty pond and good playground for the kids. Don't let the distance listed in the books fool you - you can clearly see the traffic on I-95 from the campground. It would have been noisy if we had the windows open. It had clean showers and bathrooms and a well stocked store. We will probably stay at Camp Pedro instead for the quick overnight next time as it is almost half the price and better.

Quiet, clean and nice. This campground exceeded our expectations. The bathrooms were very close by and the sites were wide, paved, nicely set-up and easy to find. Had a wonderful overnight on the way north and will definately stop again.
